We share an office with the Celina Heritage Museum right off the square at 211 W. Pecan Street. Our normal hours are Wednesdays 10-2.
Rachel Baty, President
My family moved to Celina 3 1/2 years ago from Northern California. I am married to the love of my life, Brent. We will be celebrating 29 years of marriage this summer. Between being a military wife and a corporate wife, I have moved over 20 times. Our son, Brennan, graduated from Celina High School 2 years ago and is now living in Colorado loving the snowboarding country. Our daughter, Isabel, will be 10 in May and is all tomboy. She is a 4th grader at Celina Intermediate. For the last five years, I have been a Premier Jewelry Lady. Recently, I returned to the interior design field I was in before children and started my own interiior redesign and staging business. We have been the new people so many times with all our moves that being part of the Celina Newcomers that connects people to the community and makes them feel welcome is close to home for me. Last year, I served on the Celina Newcomers board as Activities and Membership Director. This year I am privileged to serve as President.
My husband, Jesse and I moved to Texas in August, 2011 from Jacksonville, Florida. I grew up in (small town) Frisco so I knew I wanted to raise my children in a small town and Celina was a perfect fit for our growing family. We bought our first home in Carter Ranch in 2012 and love how the neigborhood and town have been so welcoming. We have 3 girls. Paige (7), Lily (2) and Martha (almost 1). I love being a stay-at-home mom and Scentsy Consultant and am looking forward to serving as Treasurer for Celina Newcomers.
My family moved to Celina from Fairfield, TX. I have two children, Ethan (8) and Jonas (5). Before moving to Celina, I worked in the school system for many years but now enjoy being a stay-at-home mom while starting my own business selling Premier Designs Jewelry. We moved to Celina to start a new church called The Bridge. I will be serving Celina Newcomers as the Secretary and am looking forward to helping others meet new friends and feel connected in the Celina community.
I have lived in Celina for over 9 years. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 22 years and have two beautifiul daughters, Hope and Holly. I have been involved with Newcomers for about 4 years. I am joining the board as Activities Director and have been blessed by Newcomers. I am looking forward to blessing others through fun activities that bring us together to build and nurture friendships.
I moved to Celina 2 years ago and immediately felt at home as a BOBCAT. My husband, Brian and I both grew up in Dallas and were high school sweethearts. We will be celebrating 23 years of marriage this summer. We have three boys Colby (12), Caden (10) and Colin (8). I stay very busy with a mixture of traditional and homeschool schedules as well as scouts and sports. Celina Newcomers has been a great place for me to get connected and feel apart of the Celina community. I have been very blessed this past year to serve on the Newcomers board and will continue in my role as Communications Director overseeing the newsletter and website.
